13!

Week 13!

So, this week Bellybean has fingerprints! You can see Bellybean's veins and organs through his or her thin skin. Also, Bellybean's head is beginning to slow down on the growing so it's only 1/3 of his/her's total body size.

Bellybean is the size of a medium shrimp, almost 3 inches long and weighing in at almost an ounce.

There's really not a lot changing for me...still. I'm still too big for my normal clothes, but that's ok. Haven't gained any weight. Not really sick. Not really tired anymore. All in all it's pretty ok. Week thirteen is sometimes considered the start of the second trimester. Others say to count week 14, but hey, I'm impatient. We're going with the week 13 school of thought. :) I'm sure I'll have an update for this week on Friday. That's my next doctor's appointment. We'll at least get to hear Bellybean's heartrate.

**Appointment Update**

Ok, so we got to hear BellyBean's heartbeat today! There's still a baby in there! We were told that we get ultrasounds at the next two appointments. The first will be the one to determine gender! I can't wait! November 5th can't come soon enough! The second will be the ultrasound to check measurements and make sure that everything is normal.

A belly shot. 13weeks 4 days. I swear, I could at least suck it in and keep it flat before BellyBean. Now I can't even suck it in. :) I haven't gained any weight yet either.
