3 Months!

Thanks to babycenter.com for the 12 week image.

Hitting 12 weeks means I can respond to "How far along are you?" in MONTHS! I don't have to feel silly "ummm... 9 weeks" I can actually say "3 months" !!

Belly Bean is roughly the size of a lime. According to babycenter, (s)he has an "unquestionably human" face because his/her eyes have moved from the sides of the head to the front and his/her tiny ears are in the right place.

Bellybean is the size of a lime, just over 2 inches long and weighing about 1/2 an ounce.

I go in for my next appointment on Oct. 2nd. I'm not scheduled for another ultrasound or anything, just a check up and listen to the heartbeat. Although, the doctor did say we'd do an ultrasound at the beginning of November to determine sex, so that's getting closer and closer!

Sometimes this feels like it's dragging on, and I can't get through this fast enough. Sometimes it feels like I'll never get to the end and holding my little baby. Other times though I can't believe how fast it really is going, I mean we just found out and in a month I get to find out if it's Cadence or Alexander (a tentative boys name). I should be able to feel Belly Bean kicking soon... Eep! That's something that can't happen fast enough.

I feel pretty good. Still tired but if that's my only complaint, I'm not complaining. lol. My hair is SOOOOO dry though! I can't do anything with it. For the last month it's just like hay. Oh well. At least it's long enough for ponytails now.
