Ok, no matter what you go by I am now in the second trimester! We're at the 14 week mark... or well really 14 weeks 2 days since I'm slow on updated this week.
This week Bellybean can squint, frown, grimace, pee and maybe even suck his/her thumb. Let me tell you, I think him/her being able to be is making me have to drink more. (S)He needs to get the fluid to go somewhere and I can't get enough water.
Bellybean now measures a whopping 3 1/2 inches, or the size of a lemon, and weighs in at about 1.5 ounces
His/her body is growing faster than their head now, so Bellybean is looking less and less like a big headed monster. :) By the end of the week his or her arms will be lengthened enough to be in proportion with their body. He/she is growing a fine layer of hair called lanugo to keep warm in there, and his or her liver is making bile.
