Whoa. Three months have just flown by. Cadence is a fully functioning baby now, not just a lump in jammies. She giggles, squeals, and "talks" to us. She is interacting with and responding to her toys, she's rolling over both ways occasionally. I'm amazed everyday.
Cadence went to a family reunion with Zack's parents today. She just went for a couple (really an hour and a half)of hours so that I could finish homework and housework before I go back to work tomorrow. When I picked her up and got her situated in the car seat I was standing around and talking to the in-laws for a minute so I sat the car seat on the ground. Her 6 month old cousin came over and started playing with Cadybelle's feet, and they were talking at each other. It was adorable.
Today was supposed to be my first day back to work. Well, it wasn't supposed to be, tomorrow is, but I had planned on going in today. I didn't. I just couldn't make myself miss another day with my baby when I wasn't really obligated to be there. Tomorrow though, well I have to go.
As of next Monday I will have officially completed my first class through the University of Phoenix. Yes, it is a real school. It's accredited and everything. There's a lot of group work though, and my group is not doing so well. I hate getting stuck with everything. Oh well.
Ignore the messy room. This was taken in Zack's "man cave" it's his job to keep that room clean. This is Cadence playing with a big stuffed duck.
Since the last blog we've had Cadence's two month check up, and we went to PA to visit my family.
At her two month check up Cadence was 11lbs 6 oz, she was 8lbs 1 oz at birth. She was 23 in long, up from 20 in at birth.
The trip to Pennsylvania was pretty fun. She did ok on the plane, except for one massive spit up all over her and me. My family has posted a ton of pictures from the trip on Facebook.
Here's a beauty from the plane.

This was after she spit up all over us. I think she was trying to tell us what she thought of us dragging her almost 3,000 miles cross country.
