It's A Girl!

18 weeks 6 days

I've been slacking on the updates but, I was waiting for my doctor's appointment which was yesterday and Bellybean is a girl! See, I even have proof.
In week 17 Cadence was flexing her arms and legs, which I can feel. Zack can't yet, but hopefully soon. Week 18, her uterus and fallopian tubes were formed, and in place.
This week, week 19 her sensory development is exploding. Some research suggests that she can hear us now, and her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. You know, the five senses?
It hasn't really sunk into me yet that Bellybean is now Cadence. I know it's a little strange, but now that I know what's cookin' in there it's strange to me. I'm sure I'll get used to it, and I'm so very excited that we're having a girl, but really, it's weird to not be ambiguous anymore.
Maybe it's because everyone had kept saying that she would be a he, and I had prepared myself to hear it. I don't know.
I do have some awesome pictures of Cadence's face though.

This is a 3D shot of her face.
and a picture of her face and hands.
