I'm putting this together to chronicle my life as Zack and I have a little one on the way. As of today the estimated count is 6 weeks 2 days. Putting us at an EDD of April 1st. Our little April Fool.
It's probably too early to be spreading the exciting news, a lot of people wait until after the end of the 1st trimester (about 6 weeks from where I am) but, I'm just too excited.
Possible baby names include Cadence (Kay-denz) Michelle, or Charles Martin... those are my top choices right now. Zack wants to consider Vash Martin and Cadence Carol, but I think my choices will win out ;).
I don't know how Peanut and Leo will handle being big brothers. Right now Peanut is being very clingy. He has to be near me, and if I'm not touching him, he is touching me. He also needs to sleep as close to my tummy as he can without being on me, but I'm not sure if it has to do with baby or not.
So far, I've been lucky enough to not have a lot of symptoms. I'm exhausted every waking moment. There has been some nausea, mainly when I need to boost my blood sugar. I'm definitely ok with getting sick because I need to eat, rather than not being able to eat because I'm sick. Although, I have a feeling it is going to make keeping my weight down super hard. I've also had my crying jags, the giggles and some cravings. (Ice cream and french fries) We'll have to see how it goes from here.
OH! I think I'm completely weaned from my caffeine addiction. HOORAY!
